About ACE
American Construction and Excavation is the result of a life-long dream to play in the dirt! Shane’s passion for construction began at an early age through the building of die cast models and designing of miniature job sites. Although it all started with hand held machines and mud from the front yard, as he grew, Shane knew it would become his career. In high school, Shane set about working in residential construction for the family business. After graduating from the University of California at Merced in 2012, he worked for two commercial contractors managing several large projects over the span of five years. In 2017, he made a move back to the family business in residential construction, bringing new experience and management skills with him. Finally, in 2019, he obtained his contractors license for General Engineering and launched American Construction and Excavation, thus making his life long dream a reality!
